Grantham welcomes back Mid-Lent Fair in early April.

The Mid Lent Fair returns to Grantham at the beginning of next month.

The fair runs from Sunday, April 2, through to Wednesday, April 5 on Westgate.

The opening ceremony by the Mayor of Grantham, Coun Linda Wootten, will take place at 2pm on the opening day at the Dodgems ride in the Market Place.

Road closures for the fair will take place from Saturday, April 1, from 5pm onwards in Wide Westgate, Narrow Westgate, Welby Street, Guildhall Street (part of), Butcher’s Row, Union Street and Conduit Lane, including the car park. All roads in Grantham will reopen at 6am on Thursday, April 6.

There will be golden ticket competitions in the local press allowing a child and friend or parent/guardian to go on rides for a day for free.

There will also be money-off vouchers for rides available from SKDC’s offices in Stamford, Grantham, Bourne and Market Deeping for a day or evening out for children and adults alike.
