Grantham work colleagues to take to the skies for pet charity
A pair of daring work colleagues are taking part in a 11,000ft skydive in July to raise funds for a pet charity.
Kirsty Walton and Becky Andrews, who both work at Pets at Home in Grantham, are hoping to raise £2,000 for Support Adoption for Pets, an animal rescue and pets adoption charity that helps thousands of pets get a second chance at happiness.
Kirsty, who has worked at the store for over 12 years, said: “This amazing charity does some amazing work for both local and national charities, offering grants, pallets of donated stock and so much more to so many other charities that are in need of support.
“They also have centres across the country in pets at home stores finding new homes for small animals like rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters.”
It will be the first time that Kirsty and Becky have taken part in a tandem jump skydive, which is due to take place in Lancashire on July 10, but both say they are ‘really looking forward to it.’
Kirsty added: “It is a charity that is very close to both of us and we are really excited to be able to take part in something that will help them continue the work they are doing for pets in need across the UK. Any donation would be gratefully received no matter how small.”
