A 12-week consultation on proposals to update the way Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue delivers services has been launched, as the service prepares for budget reductions.
Feedback from the public is being sought on proposals contained within the Integrated Risk Management Planning consultation document 2015/16.
The proposals are around:
** Potential savings options to meet anticipated budget reductions.
** Introducing an alternative crewing arrangement on some Retained Duty System fire stations so that fire engines with fewer than four firefighters can attend certain incidents.
** Revising the way in which the response standard to house fires and road accidents is presented.
** Increasing the number of fire stations that provide a co-responder service for medical emergencies.
** Setting the service priorities for 2015/16.
