Head-on crash on A52 near Grantham closes road


A car ended up in the ditch along the A52 this afternoon (Tuesday) following a head-on crash.

A Renault and an Audi collided on the busy road between Sedgebrook and Bottesford just before 1pm.

The Renault ended up backwards in a ditch, with the Audi in the middle of the road.

Police and medics attended the scene. No details of injuries have been released.

The incident has caused long tailbacks along the A52 in both directions and the section of road remains closed.
