Health club plans for former Grantham lighting shop

By Grantham Reporter

Plans for a health club in Watergate have been submitted to the district council.

The applicant wants to change the use of the former Rutland Lighting store at 10-12, Watergate, into a health club.

Rutland Lighting in Watergate closed in December 2017 after 30 years trading, citing the end of its lease and blaming competition from out-of-town retailers.

The application for the health club is currently pending consideration and is available for inspection online at: www.southkesteven.gov.uk/planning
