TERMINALLY ill children are to receive better care after funding was granted to a county service.

The Lincolnshire Children and Young People’s Palliative Care Service secured two grants totalling £15,350. They were made by the Department of Health from a £30 million pot set aside for paediatric palliative care projects nationally.

Care co-ordinator Julia O’Dwyer, said: “All of the children in our care and their families are benefiting immeasurably from these grants.”
