A GIRL who received a double lung transplant in 2005 has enjoyed a holiday with a family as a reward for her bravery.

Annabelle Gascoyne, 11, has been receiving treatment at London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital since she was two.

The hospital decided to give Annabelle and her family tickets to the star-studded charity premiere of the Pirates Ultimate Adventure Show in Majorca last month.

The spectacular show raises money for Great Ormond Street and the premiere was attended by children from the hospital and their families all of whom were flown to the island and treated to a week’s holiday courtesy of First Choice Holidays.

Pirates from the show made a surprise visit to Annabelle, her brother Miles and mum and dad Lee and Sarah at their hotel in Palma Nova.

They were then whisked to a pre-event party where they mingled with the other families, VIP guests and celebrities.
