A French Market held in Grantham on Saturday attracted good crowds.

Fourteen traders sold French food, fashion and goods. Vintage music and family entertainment entertained shoppers who were able to sample French-style cuisine and snacks.

SKDC’s portfolio holder for Arts, Leisure and Culture Coun Linda Wootten said: “It was pleasing to see very healthy crowds on October 17 enjoy the French Market. Shoppers enjoyed an excellent selection of French fare and were given an air of authenticity, with the addition of an accordion player and a mime artist.

“Both our regular traders and those visiting us with the French section were pleased with trade and we hope to welcome the event to the market at least once a year.”
