This Saturday St Wulfram’s Church is hosting a free recital of music for percussion and organ, being performed by students from London’s Royal Academy of Music.

From 11.30am Jacob Brown and Joseph Beech will play a mixture of original works and transcriptions, in a programme which will include ‘Mars, the Bringer of War’ from Gustav Holst’s The Planets, along with works by Nico Muhly, Pierre Cochereau, and Emmanuel Sejourné.

The recital will conclude with their own transcription of Barry Gray’s soundtrack to Thunderbirds.

The café will be open during the recital and all proceeds will go to supporting the music programme at the church.
