Heart conditions inspire Ropsley teen’s charity raffle
A 17-year-old who suffers from two heart conditions is raising money for the British Heart Foundation (BHF) with a charity raffle.
Jade Voller has both supraventricular tachycardia and Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, which result in pain due to abnormal electrical impulses affecting the heart’s rhythm.
An adminstrator at Grantham College, Jade said: “It’s painful and frightening, but I’m hoping to get treatment soon.”
Coinciding with this month’s Wear It Beat It campaign by the BHF, Jade has decided to raise funds for the charity by raffling off an enormous fluffy bunny.
Anyone who donates on her Just Giving Page and leaves their contact details will be included in the draw taking place this Sunday, with the winner notified soon after.
The teenager who lives on Chapel Hill in Ropsley added: “I want to raise money to try and help other young people like myself.”
