SUPPORT Grantham Museum while purchasing a unique and special gift this Christmas.

Grantham Community Heritage Association - the organisation which is aiming to re-open Grantham Museum - is selling “Isaac Newton Apple Trees” to raise funds.

The trees are direct descendents of the original apple tree under which Sir Isaac Newton first considered the notion of gravity.

The GCHA got hold of 150 of the trees to sell at £20 each to raise funds for the museum, but already half of those have been sold. Anyone interested in buying a tree can pop into John Cussell Jewellers in Westgate. Jenni Cussell of GCHA said: “They are proving very popular and would make a great Christmas present.”
