Horse riding equipment worth up to £3,000 stolen from vehicle in Grantham

A large amount of horse riding equipment valued up to £3,000 has been stolen from a vehicle in Grantham.

The vehicle was in the car park of the Premier Inn on Harlaxton Road when it was broken into and the equipment stolen at around 2.20am on Saturday, June 25.

The owner of the equipment was in Grantham for a horse competition and the property amounts to the value of between £2,000 and £3,000.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have either seen suspicious activity at this time, or have been offered any of the following items:

Gatehouse HS1 Jockey Skull riding hat (navy)

Showing Selection tweed jacket (light green with an orange, navy and dark green check)

Tredstep Donatello long riding boots (black)

Elite body protector

Bladen man’s keepers tweed sports jacket

Fyle leather (brown saddle) – 1 suede knee and seat

Ideal brown leather

Leather girths (brown)

Stirrups & leathers

Sheepskin brown numnah

Gel pad sheepskin acavallo gel

Jeffries bridles (stainless steel bits and rubber reins)

Hunting elasticated martingale
