Hundreds of homes affected by power cut in Grantham

A power cut in Grantham last night left hundreds of homes without electricity.

It led to a call-out for Grantham firefighters just after 8.30pm. They attended a shop in Dysart Road when the power cut set off the fire alarm.

Western Power Distribution said power was restored to the area by 9.30pm.
