'I can't wait to see you all in Grantham next year'
Popstar and TV personality Peter Andre is hoping fans will be 'blown away' when he performs in Grantham next year.
The internationally acclaimed, global media star is set to perform at The Meres Leisure Centre, Grantham, on Sunday, March 3, as part of his 'Celebrating 25 Years' tour.
Speaking about the tour to the Grantham Journal this morning, Peter said: "I want to take people right back to the very beginning, to songs they've never heard me sing right up to my brand new material.
"I will also be singing a medley of songs from performers who have inspired me and made me want to write my own songs, including Prince, Michael Jackson and Nirvana."
When asked why he chose Grantham as one of the concert venues, Peter added: "I always perform in places like London or Manchester which is great but there are some music fans that have never been able to go to a concert so it's great to able to say we are coming to you."
Despite it being a tight schedule of back to back performances, Peter is hoping to arrive in Grantham early enough to visit a 'good coffee shop' and would like some recommendations about which one.
After turning 45 in February, Peter says he has no plans to slow down, adding: "I feel fantastic. My shows have always been very high energy.
"I want people to be blown away at the concert. I want them to leave and just think 'wow'."
Peter’s music career peaked during the 90s when he became the sixth highest selling artist in the UK.
He had several Number One hit singles, two Number One albums and toured all over the world collecting a multitude of national and international accolades along the way. His chart success led to major tours throughout the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia.
The Celebrating 25 Years tour will see Peter encompass his musical journey through the years, performing his best loved hits from his early years to his most recent tracks.
In a final message to his fans in Grantham, Peter added: "I can't wait to see you all at the concert. Make sure you come prepared to have a good time."
