In pictures: People hold colourful celebrations for The Queen’s birthday in Grantham and villages

There were rousing and colourful celebrations for the Queen’s 90th birthday over the weekend in Grantham and surrounding villages.

Street parties were held in Long Bennington, Welby, Ropsley and Corby Glen as well as in St Wulfram’s Church in Grantham and at Belton House.

Long Bennington held a street party at St James’s Hall and enjoyed a flypast by a Spitfire and a Hurricane. There were dance displays and choir singing.

Visitors to Belton House were invited to take along picnics and enjoy games at the National Trust property.
