Grantham woman wins award at celebration of women in business

A woman from Grantham has won an award at a ceremony that celebrates women in business.

Charlotte Horobin, regional director for manufacturers’ organisation EEF, won the prestigious Emerging Leader award at the Forward Ladies National Awards and Summit in Leeds.

Charlotte joined EEF over five years ago and is responsible for managing and developing relationships with member companies in the Midlands and East of England. She is also in charge of designing and delivering a programme of regional events which enable members to network.

Charlotte said: “I’m absolutely delighted to win this award and to be recognised nationally. I truly enjoy my role as I get to visit and promote the manufacturing sector across the Midlands and East of England, which is incredibly captivating and important for the region.”

She added: “To win personal recognition like this is thrilling.”
