JOURNAL LETTER: So sorry I drenched you

Have your say

I would like to send my sincere apologies to the gentleman who was running past the King’s School in Brook Street, last Tuesday morning.

I am sorry, my wife and I were discussing a car that had turned across our path at the corner, without the driver checking to see if there was a car in the vicinity, and I did not register you were running until I was on top of the puddle.

I should have stopped and apologised in person.
