ARE you fed up of watching Grantham’s shops close down?
Are you sick to the back teeth of transport decisions which clog up the town’s roads?
Do you want to hold to account those who make the big decisions affecting our historic market town?
Then this is YOUR chance to stand up and have your say.
The Journal is holding a ‘Question Time’ event to give the people of Grantham a chance to demand answers on town centre issues and to ask what is being done to keep Grantham alive.
We have chosen a selection of panellists to cover all aspects of Grantham’s economy - they are:
l Grantham MP Nick Boles
l Labour’s David Burling
l District Councillor Frances Cartwright
l County councillor Richard Davies
l Grantham Business Club chairman Bijal Ladva
l Lincolnshire County Council area highways manager Mark Heaton
l Lincolnshire County Council head of regeneration Paul Wheatley
l South Kesteven District Council’s Ian Yates
The ‘Question Time’ event will be held at Kesteven and Grantham Girls’ School, in Sandon Road, Grantham, on Friday, August 5.
The event will begin at 7pm, doors will open at 6.30pm.
The event will be chaired by Journal editor James Mitchinson, who will be taking questions both from the floor and from those submitted using coupons printed in the Journal.
We hope to see you there.
