Last chance to sign petition against Grantham Ambulance Station closure

Have your say

This weekend is your last chance to sign a petition against plans to close Grantham’s ambulance station and put a community ambulance post (CAP) in its place.

The petition was launched by action group Last GASP (Grantham Ambulance Station Protest) and has already gained more than 9,000 signatures.

Those wishing to show support can find forms at several town centre shops and South Kesteven District Council customer services, or sign online via

East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) is behind the plans to reduce the region’s 66 stations and instead build 13 hubs backed up by CAPs and standby points. Under proposals, the nearest hub will be at Sleaford.

Consultation closes on December 17.
