THE annual Vale of Belvoir Music Quiz was held at the Bottesford VC Hall on Saturday.

The money raised from the event went to Nottingham’s multiple sclerosis centre.

Twelve teams totalling 70 people took part in the quiz this year, which consisted of 12 rounds of questions, including ‘name that tune’ and identifying artists by picture only.

A raffle was also held during the event to raise further funds for the chosen charity.

At half time, guests were treated to home-made lasagne or chilli, followed by apple pie and cream.

The winning team of the night, West End Jiggy, scored an impressive score of 200 points and were awarded a case of six wines as their hard-earned prize.

Lion Andy Potts said: “The evening was a success, and good fun at the same time.”
