A group of litter pickers got together in Wyndham Park last Saturday to highlight a campaign launched by Keep Britain Tidy.

The group, made up of Couns Richard Davies, Bob Adams and Nick Craft, and SKDC Parks and Engagement Officer Charlotte Crake, collected eight bin bags of rubbish from the park in just two hours for National Community Clear-Up Day.

The national clean-up took place on the first day of spring. Keep Britain Tidy said it was a big success and helped to spruce up the country’s high streets, residential and business areas, villages and parks.
