A charity luncheon was held to raise money towards the care of three-year-old Grantham girl Alana Mills.

Alana is currently undergoing chemotherapy for leukaemia at Queen’s Medical Centre.

Organised by Dianne Johnson, Twiggy Aspland and Merrilyn Thompson, the event at Ancaster Karting on April 22 saw £1,020 raised as more than 50 people attended.

“It was a beautiful day and we are grateful to everyone who came together to raise money for Alana,” said Dianne.
