The Osiligi Maasai Warrior Troupe will perform at St Wulfram’s Church on Saturday, September 28.
It will be the troupe’s first visit to Grantham, and a stop-off while en route from Scotland to the south-west of England as they continue on their 10th tour.
Each tour raises money for members’ families and their community, which is located south of Nairobi. Here, life is tough and money brought into the area by the troupe has seen lives change. They now have clean fresh water, solar lighting, a new church and a new school which teaches 105 children.
The show at St Wulfram’s will begin at 2.30pm. Tickets are £8 for adults, £4 for children, available at the church office on 01476 561342 or the Guyildhall Arts Centre on 01476 406158. Proceeds will be split between the troupe and the church spire appeal.
