Male arrested after theft from vehicle in Grantham

A man has been arrested in connection with theft from a car in Grantham.

Police received a report of a male attempting to break into a vehicle on Houghton Road, Grantham, shortly before 12.30am on Tuesday.

Karol Banaszynski, 20, of Harlaxton Road, Grantham was later arrested in connection with theft from a car in Houghton Road.

Banaszynski is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates Court on June 7.

Sgt Dan McCormack tweeted: "Male in custody. Located with stolen item from the vehicle. #Teamwork #Policing #Grantham #RightPlaceRightTime"
