Man, 75, denies endangering safety by driving on railway tracks between Grantham and Sleaford

Court news.
Court news.

A pensioner is accused of turning left at a level crossing in Wilsford and driving on the tracks, thereby endangering the safety of a person upon the railway.

John Musson, 75, of Old Station House, Bingham, pleaded not guilty to the charge, and also to driving a Vauxhall Corsa van dangerously.

The offences are alleged to have taken place on March 16.

A trial date is yet to be set. Magistrates accepted jurisdiction and will deal with the case instead of the crown court.
