A man accused of the robbery of an elderly woman last week in Grantham has been remanded in custody by magistrates.

Thomas Peter Dawson, 29, of Castlegate, Grantham, appeared at Lincoln Magistates Court charged with one count of robbery and one of attempted robbery on Thursday, June 16, in the area of Agnes Street in Grantham.

Magistrates adjourned the case to Lincoln Crown Court on July 18.
