Man arrested after woman falls from Grantham building

A Lincoln man has been arrested in connection with an incident in Grantham on Saturday which saw a woman fall from a building.

Police have confirmed that at 7.35pm on August 8 they were called to reports of a disturbance on Watergate, Grantham.

Upon arrival a woman, aged in her 20s, was found with injuries consistent with a fall. She was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre for treatment, but her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

A 25-year-old man from the Lincoln area was arrested on suspicion of affray in connection with the incident. He has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
