Man arrested twice in two days for dangerous driving in Grantham

Police in Grantham arrested a man twice in two days for dangerous driving.

The male was originally arrested on Monday for failing to stop after police received a report about a suspicious vehicle.

He was also found to be driving whilst unfit through drugs and dangerous driving.

The man was taken into custody overnight to sober up.

Sgt Dan McCormack tweeted: "He could hardly walk or talk due to his drug induced intoxication."

The man admitted all offences during an interview with police yesterday (Tuesday) and was released pending results of a blood test, but he was back at the station within an hour of being released after being arrested again for drug driving and possession of Class A drugs.

Sgt McCormack added: "Currently being interviewed for a second time today for the same offence #DrugDriving #OffToCourt."
