'Man exposed his penis' near Grantham school

Pupils at Walton Academy in Grantham have been warned to be 'vigilant' after a man was seen exposing himself near the school yesterday afternoon (Tuesday).

A concerned parent shared a post on social media to warn parents of pupils at the school.

She said: "My children were walking home from school tonight down Harlaxton Road and phoned me in a panic as there was a man standing and watching all the children walking from school in his boxers with his penis out.

"I have informed the school and the police.

"Please make sure your children take extra care when walking to school.

"I feel physically sick that this could happen, especially so close to school and in broad daylight."

Lincolnshire Police confirmed the control room received a report of a man exposing him in the Harlaxton Road area shortly after 4pm yesterday and that the neighbourhood policing team (NPT) will be in the area today.

Staff at the school, in Kitty Briggs Lane, off Harlaxton Road, have also informed students to be vigilant and stay safe walking to and from school and confirmed that police will keep the school updated.

Police told the Journal there have been no arrests.
