Man stabbed in Grantham street

A man was stabbed in a residential area of Grantham last night (Tuesday).

Police were called to the Grantley Street/Launder Terrace area and found a man with injuries "consistent with a knife wound".

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: "Between 6.30pm and 7pm on Tuesday March 23, we received reports of an assault that occurred in the area of Grantley Street and Launder Terrace.

"A man sustained injuries consistent with a knife wound and was taken to hospital. Thankfully his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening."

Officers are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage, to come forward.
