An annual memorial football match and family fun day will take place tomorrow (Saturday).

The Danny Walsh memorial event will kick off at noon at Harrowby United FC.

It will start with kids’ football and there will be plenty to keep the young ones happy with face painting, balloon making and five-a-side goals.

At 3pm the main game takes place between Warthogs and Long Necks.

There will be a raffle and a barbecue.

Following the match, local band Ruff n’ Ready will perform some of Danny’s favourite songs.

Everybody is welcome and all proceeds go to Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

Danny died on July 28, 2013. Every year since his death a memorial match has been held at the football club and raised money for charity.
