Memory Lane: First for Aveling Barford in Grantham

After seeing the photo of Aveling Barford’s last dumper truck in Memory Lane, Andy Watson kindly sent in this of the first.

Taken in October 1970, it shows the first prototype outside the development department at South Parade, with the test department (now Jacksons) behind.
