It will be officially opened, as is tradition, by the Mayor of Grantham, Councillor Jacky Smith, on the Sunday at 2pm, by the Dodgems in Market Place.

Road closures will be in place from 5pm on Saturday, March 12, and include Wide Westgate, Narrow Westgate, Welby Street, Guildhall Street (part of), Butcher’s Row, Conduit Lane including car park, Union Street (part of) and Market Place.

All roads will reopen at 6am on Thursday, March 17.

***Look out for the golden ticket competition running in the Grantham Journal next week, which will see one winning child and a friend/parent/guardian ride for a day for free.
