MISS Carly Speechley, daughter of Stephen and Jane Speechley, of Newport Avenue, Grantham, and Mr Mark Durrands, son of Paul and Lorraine Durrands, of Redcliffe Road, Grantham, were married at Woodland Waters.
Given away by her father, the bride wore an ivory satin A-line dress with sweetheart neckline, chiffon draping and heavily beaded detail. She carried calla lilies in a teardrop with beaded detail and a locket containing pictures of her brother.
Bridesmaids were Katie Davison, groom’s sister, Joanne Dowsett, bride’s cousin, Jennifer Gregory and Alice Chantry-Parke. They wore long black strapless dresses with ivory sashes and lace-ups. Alice wore a long ivory dress with a black sash and straps. They carried calla lilies with feathers and beading detail.
Page boy was Joshua Durrands (the couple’s son).
Best man was James O’Reilly and ushers were Mike Thackery and Richard Greenfield.
The reception was held at Woodland Waters. A honeymoon was spent in Paphos, Cyprus.
The couple will live in Grantham.
Carly is a learning support assistant and her hobbies include Formula One and ten-pin bowling. Mark is a leisure club manager at Barnsdale Hall Hotel and his hobbies include Formula One, golf and football.
