More than 100 children take part in Grantham Wyndham Park Easter egg hunt

This year’s Easter egg hunt in Wyndham Park was very popular with 107 youngsters taking part in the event.

The forecast of bad weather failed to keep the m away and the hunt helped to raise money for park improvements.

Elizabeth Bowskill, secretary of Wyndham Park Forum, said: “The Forum would like to thank everyone who turned out to take part in the Easter Egg Hunt despite the dreadful forecast.

“There were some new faces as well as returning family groups – and we had a total of 107 children taking part. Thank you so much for supporting this event and making it worthwhile.

“We raised £175 which will be put towards future events and park improvements.”
