MR Arthur William Worth, of Hawksdale Close, Grantham, has died in Kings Court Nursing Home, Grantham. He was 83.

Born in Witham Place, Grantham, he was the youngest son of George and Alice Worth, and brother to Roy and Betty.

In June 1953 he married Betty and they later had two daughters, Deborah and Beverley and subsequently a grandson, Darren.

Mr Worth had spent his working life with various local firms, including Greasleys, Tearsons, and Bristowes Tarvia. and at the time of his retirement he was working for Colas UK.

His interests were gardening, horse racing, watching sports on television and trips out with his family.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
