MR John Dable, has died in Grantham Hospital. He was 77.

Mr Dable was born in Nottingham.

He was married to Joan, who predeceased him in 1992, and was father to Julian, Antonia, Jeremy and Alex and has nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr Dable worked as an antiques dealer.

His interests included archaeology - specifically the Roman period of British history; art; crafts; books and good conversation.

The funeral service was held at St Sebastian’s Church, Great Gonerby. Cremation followed in Grantham.

Harris, Mr and Mrs David Lee, Terry Baxter, Freda Baxter, Bill Taylor, Ian Challice, P. Kay-Kreizman, E. Kay-Kreizman, and Patricia Lee.

Funeral arrangements were by Co-operative Funeralcare, Bridge End Road, Grantham.
