Mr John Walter Welberry, of Pasture Farm, Stoke Rochford, has died in Grantham Hospital. He was 96.

He was born in Salmonby, Lincolnshire.

In 1942 he married Doll and they had three sons.

A farmer, Mr Welberry worked in farming until he was in his late 80s.

His interests included racing and farming.

The funeral service was held at Grantham Crematorium Chapel, conducted by Nicola Dela-Croix.

Family mourners included: Ted and Christine, Pete and Julie, Steven, Tanya and Chloe Welberry. Tim Welberry, Charles and Jenny Baxter.
