MR Raymond Frederick Potts, of Sandon Close, Grantham, has died in Grantham Hospital. He was 67.

Born in Sewstern the son of Frederick and Mable Potts, he was brother to Jeffrey.

He married Janet and had two sons, Russell and Simon. He was grandfather to Corey and Marielena.

Mr Potts worked for the council as an apprentice plumber before becoming a crane driver at John Lee’s scrap yard recycling. Later he worked for Grantham Book Service as a forklift truck driver.

He was interested in steam engines, fishing and DIY.

The service was held at Grantham Crematorium Chapel, conducted by Robert Holland.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland Funeral Director, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
