MR Walter Daff (Wally), of Belmont Grove, Grantham, has died in Grantham Hospital. He was 77.
Born in Woodnook, near Grantham, he was the youngest of six children to John James and Mary Daff. He lived in Barton-le-Clay, Bedfordshire, until the age of 14.
He had worked as a farmer on the family farm in Barkestone, in the Vale of Belvoir until becoming a construction worker and finally he worked as a taxi driver until his retirement.
Mr Daff enjoyed football and Grand Prix racing. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
The funeral service was held at Grantham Crematorium Chapel, conducted by Robert Holland.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
