Mrs Ada Dennis, of Derwent Road, Grantham, has died in Grantham Hospital. She was 92.
Born in Dalston, Hackney, London, she was the wife of Dick and mother to Jim, Sandra and Christine, grandmother to Mark, Tracee, Beverly, Denise, Terri, Paul and Samantha, and great-grandmother to Michael, James, Ryan, Jessica, Campbell, Antonia, Lewis and Holly.
Mrs Dennis trained as a machinist with Goray, in London.
On moving to Lincolnshire she had a milk round in Rippingale. She was then a licensee of the Five Bells, Edenham, followed by the Hare and Hounds in Burton Coggles, and finally at the Wagon and Horses in Grantham.
She liked sewing and knitting, and in later years she enjoyed card-making and watching her favourite programmes on television. Most of all she loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The Rev June Rowland conducted the funeral service at Grantham Crematorium Chapel.

Barnes, Mr and Mrs J. Newman, Rita Watkins, Ian Watkins, Mr and Mrs A. Turner, Debbie Bolton, Richard James, Gavin Dowsett and Ian Hodgkins.
Other mourners included: Paul and Christine Dear, Pam Gibson, Mr and Mrs D. White, Julie Dear, Mr and Mrs T. Wells, David and Lynda Mitchell, Stacy Watkin, Paul Barthorpe, Lucy Zajac, Angelica Grajewska and Thelma Bateman.
Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
Donations were received for Glenfield Hospital.
