MRS Ivy Mahala Goodliffe (nee Crompton), of Harrowby Lodge Nursing Home, Grantham, has died there. She was 86.
Born in Southwell, Nottinghamshire, she had five brothers and one sister.
In 1954 she married Bert and they had one daughter, Pat.
Her daughter predeceased her in 1990 and her husband died in 1998.
She worked on a farm and was also in the Land Army. Prior to her marriage she worked as a bus conductress for Lincs RoadCar.
In her early years she enjoyed dancing and going out with friends and family and her garden. Later she attended the blind club and Good Companions and liked socialising at Colsterworth Chapel.
The funeral service was held at Grantham Crematorium Chapel, conducted by Robert Holland.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
