MRS Olive Margery Bolland, of High Street, Bottesford, has died. She was 89.
Born in Mere, Wiltshire, she moved to Bottesford following her marriage in 1943. She met her husband, David when he was in training with the Grenadier Guards.
Mrs Bolland is predeceased by her husband.
She worked in the Co-op in Mere, prior to moving to Bottesford, where she worked for the late Mr Otley in his shop. Later she worked at Bottesford Post Office, where her husband was a postman.
Mrs Bolland was a skilled seamstress and dressmaker and made bride and bridesmaid dresses for family members. She was also an avid knitter and embroiderer.
Robert Holland conducted the funeral service at Grantham Crematorium Chapel.

Other mourners included: Jeff Bolland, Tony Bolland, Jean Gregory, John and Margaret Hunter, George and Elaine Cullen, Irene Chantry, John Millington, Ian and Joan Norris, Pauline WInters, Stella Wilton, and Ann Moulsher.
Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
Donations were received for the British Heart Foundation.
