MRS Pauline Gibbons has died in Grantham Hospital. She was 72.
Born in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, she was the eldest daughter of Philip and Violet Muxlow.
She was married to John and they had a son Paul.
Mrs Gibbons also leaves her siblings, Michael, Patrick, Jane, Sharon and David.
She began work at the shoe factory in Grantham and then moved to Woolworths. More recently she worked as a housekeeper at properties in Old Somerby and also at the village pub.
Mrs Gibbons enjoyed reading, watching soap operas and visiting the cinema to watch horror films. She also liked doing crossword puzzles and word searches.
The Rev Mike Notley conducted the funeral service at St Mary Magdalene Church, Old Somerby.
Family mourners included: John Gibbons, Paul Gibbons, Patrick Muxlow, Jane McKears, Sharon Maklowicz, David Muxlow, Joanne Muxlow, Kelly Maklowicz and baby Sam, Mark and Kate Maklowicz, Karen Muxlow, Kelsey Muxlow and Sonja Whiting.
Other mourners included: Joyce Chambers, Sid and Betty North, Valerie Durham, Zara Campden, Barry Dagger, Mrs Nice, Chris Maklowicz, Pauline Haw, Judith Wilson, Mr and Mrs J. Mills, Enid Roys and Dave Roberts.
Funeral arrangements were by Co-operative Funeralcare, Bridge End Road, Grantham.
Donations for Macmillan Cancer Support amount to £100 to date.
