The chairman of the trust responsible for Grantham hospital is looking for a new chairman.

The current chairman at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust, Ron Buchanan, is retiring in March after two years in the role.

The Trust says the new chair will provide the leadership needed to secure improved healthcare services for patients and the local community.

A spokesman for the Trust said: “This is a great time to join the trust and lead the organisation as new CEO Jan Sobieraj joins the Trust on Monday, December 7. The successful candidate will have experience of leading organisational change to achieve improvement, proven governance and financial skills, and an understanding of the challenges facing NHS healthcare providers.”

The NHS Leadership Academy is helping to identify potential candidates. Anybody who would like a confidential discussion about the role can contact Robert Wright on 0113 322 5675 or email robert.wright@leadershipacademy.nhs.uk
