Police have renewed their appeal for information about missing 83-year-old Long Bennington man Jack Foster.

Mr Foster has not been seen since Tuesday afternoon (December 23). Specialist officers continued to search the Grantham area on Christmas Day and will be continuing searches during Boxing Day.

However, they have no firm sightings of Jack since about 2.35pm on Tuesday afternoon when he was believed to be in the bus station at Grantham. They don’t know whether he got on a bus or not.

A police spokesman said: “Mr Foster will be distinctive because he shuffles rather than walks and is likely to be confused and scruffy by now. We are also renewing our appeal for people in the north Grantham area to check their sheds and outbuildings for anything to suggest that somebody may have stayed there or to hear from anyone who may have offered Jack a lift. Although we have resources to continue searches on Boxing Day we have no new information so any information from members of the public which might help to localise the searches would be greatly appreciated.”

If anybody has information on Mr Foster they should call police on 101 quoting incident 392 of December 23.
