HARROWBY Infants pupil Noah Turner decided he wanted to aid people like his mum - so got his school to help out too!
All the children at Harrowby Infants took part in the Big Cake Bake, raising an incredible £500 in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Proud mum Sally Turner said: “I’m so proud of him. Words can’t describe how proud.
“When I told him how much had been raised he said “how will I say thank you to all those people for helping me so much?”
“Then he wrote a letter to the school to thank everyone. It’s such a mature attitude and yet he’s only six.”
Noah (centre) decided to raise money after hearing of the trust’s attempts to raise £6 million for a clinical trial of gene therapy. His mum suffers from cystic fibrosis.
