Love your neighbour? Nominate them for a Good Neighbour Award.

The awards are run by South Kesteven District Council and are open to council tenants only.

The scheme recognises those special people who go out of their way to help their neighbour, or who work to make the place where they live better.

Anyone who is a council tenant and lives in the district can be nominated. Young or old, people of all ages, can be put forward.

A winner will be chosen from each of the four areas of the district – Grantham, Stamford, Bourne and The Deepings – with the overall winner being selected for their outstanding contribution to their community.

Perhaps you know of a person who helped you and made your life a little easier by doing the shopping, helping with the garden or just calling around for a cuppa to make sure you don’t feel alone.

If you know someone who fits the bill, fill out the online form.
