Obituary: Mr A. T. Watson

Mr Albert Thomas Watson, of Avery Lodge Care Home, Grantham, has died there. He was 86.

Born in Corby Glen, the son of Violet and John Watson, he was the eldest of seven children.

Mr Watson took early retirement from British Rail after 40 years’ service.

He was the treasurer for the Railway Club and was made a life member in November 1974.

He enjoyed holidays spent with his friends and day trips on the railway with friends.

Robert Holland conducted the funeral service at Grantham Crematorium Chapel.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
