Obituary: Mr E. G. Wiblin

Mr Eric George Wiblin, of Pastures Road, Barrowby, has died in Newton House Nursing Home, Barrowby Road, Grantham. He was 81.

Mr Wiblin was born in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

In 1997 he moved to Barrowby with his wife, Sheila. They were married for 58 years.

The couple had two sons, Graham and Keith and three grandchildren, Molly, Arron and Sophie.

Mr Wiblin was employed in the motor trade for most of his working life; first as a car salesman for BMC and later as parts manager at a Ford garage, where he remained for 27 years.

His interests included gardening, DIY, jigsaw puzzles and dominoes.

The funeral service was held at All Saints Church, Barrowby, conducted by the Rev Peter Hopkins. Cremation followed in Grantham.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
